Good news!
Not only are we in the Senate Omnibus Education bill, we are now in the House Omnibus Education bill. Last night the full House debated the House Omnibus Education bill on the floor. As you know, the House had not included the language to require health and physical education in their bill after not even giving our bill a hearing. Well, it is included now thanks to Rep. Tony Sertich (Chisholm) and Rep. Connie Bernardy (Fridley) and 92 other colleagues in the House. While far from a "done deal," this gives us a much better footing going into conference committee.
